Mazda Motor Mexico showed particularly successful figures, with a 30 percent sales increase when comparing June 2007 to June 2008. In the United States, the Mazda3 and Mazda5 are the two cars that most boosted Mazda sales in the last month. Both these vehicles were selling at an increased rate when compared to last June. The Mazda3 was up more than 8 percent, with over 12,000 Mazda3’s sold in the month of June alone. The Mazda5 performed even better, with an almost 30 percent increase compared to last June. The company credits these vehicles’ excellent performance and relative gas mileage for the impressive sales.
