As sporty cars go, the Mitsubishi Eclipse is an excellent vehicle to purchase both new or used. The Mitsubishi Eclipse has been on the market since it was first produced in the 1990 model year. Since then, it has established a role as a stylish and impressive vehicle that is powerful, luxurious and all-around excellent as a sport vehicle. Its engine, drive train, and body style have undergone tinkering and improvements since it first sold, but on the whole, the Eclipse has always had some consistent characteristics: it is sleek, fast, and stylish.
In fact, the car is said to have been named after a English racehorse, Eclipse. Eclipse is said to have won twenty six races during his career in the eighteenth century. If horsepower and sleek style are good measures, then this is the perfect name for the car we now know as the Mitsubishi Eclipse.

We’re now a good way into July, and the automobile sales reports for the month of June have come in for nearly every major car manufacturer selling in the United States. Among those, Mitsubishi has announced its own car sales figures for the last month. As a leader in the automotive industry, it’s no surprise that some of Mitsubishi’s key vehicles are faring well and have improved in sales from last month and even last year.
One of the best selling cars for Mitsubishi has been the Lancer. This vehicle sold very well due to its fuel economy and other dynamic features. The Lancer also sold well in May, and May and June have been the two best months for the Lancer all year. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution fared even better. Its sales multiplied by over 50 percent as compared to June of last year, with more than three hundred of the luxury vehicles selling in America in just a single month.
For Ohio car buyers, this means that you can get your hands on an impressive Mitsubishi Lancer or Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution right here at Ricart Automotive. But we also offer a wide selection of other vehicles as well. From fuel efficient cars and trucks to hybrid SUVs and used cars, Ricart Automotive has everything necessary to meet your automotive needs.

One good way of evaluating the success and quality of a vehicle is to gauge the feedback it has been granted by people who currently own and drive the vehicle. The 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer stands up to this test quite impressively. In fact, the Lancer was voted this year’s most successful compact car in the realm of owner satisfaction. In the Vehicle Satisfaction Awards, which are conducted by the automotive consulting firm AutoPacific Inc., the Mitsubishi Lancer was recognized by being awarded the “2008 Vehicle Satisfaction Award.”
The Lancer has gotten great reviews from both drivers and industry analysts alike. It first came on the market in 1973, and in the more than thirty years it has been sold, the Lancer has reached a sale mark of more than six million vehicles. After its complete redesign going into the 2007 model year, the successful compact car has been more popular than ever.
For a new or used Mitsubishi Lancer for yourself or your family, come to Ricart Automotive. We can set you up with a new or previously owned vehicle by Mitsubishi or a wide range of other manufacturers. When Mitsubishi announced the launch of its brand new “Triton Lite” vehicles, the company new they would be a success. In fact, they were so sure of it that they held a press conference. At that conference, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia CEO Keizo Ono predicted a sales rate of at least one hundred fifty vehicles per month. The Triton Lite 2.5-liter manual and Triton 3.2-liter automatic are both pickup trucks that the company expects to be quite popular.
Aimed at making trucks that meet consumer desires, the vehicles offer two slightly different focuses with regards to the strengths of the vehicle. The Triton 3.2 , which is expected to sell 25 per month in Malaysia, is a powerful and stylish truck. The Triton Lite, meanwhile, combines the usefulness of a pickup truck with a fuel efficiency that tends to be more common in smaller cars.
Fuel efficiency is something that Mitsubishi clearly takes quite seriously, and so does Ricart Automotive. In fact, we’ll do everything we can to help you get a car that is easy on your wallet while still being fun and safe to drive. Whether you’re looking for a new or previously owned vehicle, Ricart Automotive can help you out.

Mitsubishi Motors has recently released, early this month, the final tallies of its sales figures for the month of May. Among the more exciting figures were huge increases in sales of both the Galant series and the Lancer Evolution. This increase is weighed against sales figures recorded last year, so they represent increases in sales between the month of May 2007 and the month of May 2008.
Sales of the Galant series increased 7.9 percent from last May to this May. The Galant dates back to 1969 and it is currently assembled in Normal, Illinois. Now in its ninth generation, the Galant is a mid-sized, four-door sedan that runs on a four cylinder engine. Meanwhile, the Lancer Evolution sold 23.6% higher in May 2008 than it had in this month last year. Known by aficionados as the “Evo,” this vehicle is currently in its tenth generation and is widely popular among certain circles of higher end drivers.
If you’re looking to buy a car that has proven popular enough to increase sales so drastically, come to Ricart Automotive. We work hard on behalf of our customers to help you find the new or used vehicle that is right for you. Ricart Automotive: We’re Dealin’!

When it comes to success in either the business or personal arena, communication is key. That’s why Mitsubishi Motors North America has announced plans to consolidate their current field office infrastructure. Hiroshi Harunari, president and CEO of Mitsubishi, says that this new plan for centralization will strengthen the efficiency of the company by allowing it to adjust more easily in a changing marketplace. Harunari hopes that this new change will enhance communication between central offices and dealers, communication that will serve to help strengthen the company for now and the future.
The consolidation of the four current regional offices will result in two field operation zones, Eastern and Western. Bridgeport, New Jersey, will serve the Eastern zone and Irving, Texas, will serve the Western zone. California, however, will maintain a task force specially suited to the unique needs and car market conditions of the state. District managers from the current Southwest Region office in Orlando, Florida, and the Western Region Office in Cypress, California, will be reporting to the new restructured locations to increase efficiency. This means district managers will now be responsible for reporting to one of two offices rather than one of four, and field managers will have an increased ratio to dealers, which serves to improve local communication
For Mitsubishi enthusiasts, this change in infrastructure means several things. The realignment of the company’s infrastructure to better meet consumer needs means that your new or used car comes from a company that cares. So come to Ricart Automotive, and rest assured that your Mitsubishi purchase is made possible by a company that constantly strives to perform better.

Mitsubishi has been given much international attention lately as news spreads that the company has been developing and planning an innovative high-tech electric car. Known as the i-EV, the vehicle has been designed and fleet tested. Plans for a release in the UK are already underway, and speculators anticipate that the United States is next in line for the vehicle. Formerly, Mitsubishi was working on a prototype called the MiEV, and the i-EV is an improved version of that earlier model.
In an age of higher and higher standards with regards to technological and automotive efficiency, the Mitsubishi i-EV is cutting-edge. Further news of the vehicle’s development is highly anticipated in the domestic market. Highlights of the i-EV’s design and layout include increased passenger space (for friends, children, or extra storage space) as well as a highly-convenient charging system. The i-EV actually comes with two separate charging ports to accommodate different driving needs: one port connects to standard house or parking lot charging, and the other connects to a high-speed “Quick Charging System.” The former charges in just seven hours, while the latter will reach an 80% charge in as little as 30 minutes.
Ricart Automotive offers a wide range of Mitsubishi vehicles for drivers seeking to take advantage of Mitsubishi’s technological and automotive developments. Mitsubishi solidifies its place as an industry leader with forward-thinking design plans such as the i-EV.
