Fuel-efficient cars are a hot topic in nearly every corner of the automotive world these days. Mazda has taken a step of leadership by setting ambitious goals with regards to the fuel-efficiency of its own vehicles. Last week, the company said it will aim for all of its vehicles to be 30 percent more fuel efficient in the next seven years. The car maker is taking various steps to achieve that goal, including taking a fresh look at nearly every aspect of the vehicles it produces.
The first place to look for fuel-efficient cars is the engine. Mazda will add a variety of new and redesigned features, from a gasoline rotary engine to stop-start idle systems. Additionally, it will significantly reduce the weight of the vehicles themselves, which can do much in the way of fuel efficient driving.
Mazda’s leadership and commitment are excellent standards for other auto makers who seek to meet the ever changing needs of the driving public. However, if you’re interested in finding a fuel efficient vehicle right away, you don’t have to wait seven years. You just need to come to Ricart Automotive. We carry everything from hybrid SUVs to fuel-efficient cars like the Chevy Cobalt. Visit Ricart Automotive to reduce your carbon footprint and hit the road in style.

In step with other car manufacturers and vehicle makers, Nissan has released its June car sales report to show how its vehicle sales have fared in relation to other companies this year, and to show its own internal car sales trends. Monthly sales reports are a staple of the car sales industry, as each company strives to improve its record on a month to month, and even a year to year basis. Here’s what the Nissan June car sales report turned out.
The Nissan Versa had the strongest positive performance of all of Nissan’s vehicles in terms of June 2008 sales. The Versa is a subcompact car, which puts Nissan right in line with other auto makers, all of whom are seeing a sharp success in smaller, fuel-efficient vehicles over the rest of the market. Fuel efficient cars are a leader in car sales today, and Nissan is no exception. Drivers are looking for affordable and powerful cars that are economically and environmentally resopnsible.
To get a Nissan Versa for yourself, come to Ricart Automotive. We have a variety of new and used vehicles, both from Nissan and from a number of other manufacturers such as Hyunda, GM, and Mazda. If you’re looking for a fuel efficient car, a fuel efficient truck, or even a fuel efficient SUV, Ricart Automotive is the place to go. We’re dealing, and we’d love to get you on the road in your very own Nissan Versa.

We’re now a good way into July, and the automobile sales reports for the month of June have come in for nearly every major car manufacturer selling in the United States. Among those, Mitsubishi has announced its own car sales figures for the last month. As a leader in the automotive industry, it’s no surprise that some of Mitsubishi’s key vehicles are faring well and have improved in sales from last month and even last year.
One of the best selling cars for Mitsubishi has been the Lancer. This vehicle sold very well due to its fuel economy and other dynamic features. The Lancer also sold well in May, and May and June have been the two best months for the Lancer all year. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution fared even better. Its sales multiplied by over 50 percent as compared to June of last year, with more than three hundred of the luxury vehicles selling in America in just a single month.
For Ohio car buyers, this means that you can get your hands on an impressive Mitsubishi Lancer or Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution right here at Ricart Automotive. But we also offer a wide selection of other vehicles as well. From fuel efficient cars and trucks to hybrid SUVs and used cars, Ricart Automotive has everything necessary to meet your automotive needs.

Nissan made big news yesterday when they announced ambitious plans to become a leader in the mass production of electric cars. As fuel efficient vehicles, from cars to SUVs, take the spotlight, gain increasing popularity, Nissan is making a strong effort to drive forward with great energy and determination in an area that has not been growing quite as fast. Electric-fuel hybrids have become very popular, but as of yet, purely electric vehicles have been waiting to make their entrance on the large scale market.
For the future of fully electric cars, Nissan is pairing with NEC to work on advanced lithium-ion batteries. These are rechargeable batteries that hold twice the electricity yet are half the size of pre-existing nickel-metal hydride batteries. This would put Nissan as a world leader for zero-emission electric cars, which they plan to have on the market as soon as 2010. Those zero-emission electric cars would start off in the United States and Japan, then move global by 2012.
At Ricart Automotive, we’re excited to see where the future of fuel efficient vehicles such as electric cars will take America’s drivers. You can get a variety of new, used, and fuel efficient cars and trucks at Ricart Automotive right now. So come on down, and keep an eye out for these exciting new electric cars from Nissan in the years to come.
