With the consumer eye ever more on fuel efficient vehicles and other driving technology, Chevrolet is now saying that it, too, may produce a ’small car’ for the United States automotive market in the near future. Chevrolet said earlier this year that it would shift its focus to not only highlight its large Chevy trucks, but to smaller, more fuel-efficient vehicles as well. This is part of Chevy’s plan to keep up with the continually-changing auto market here in the United States.
The small Chevy car would be comparable to the Honda Fit or the Toyota Yaris. While Chevrolet says it has several concept cars that would be good for the market, the car that has gotten the most attention is the Chevrolet Beat, a small 2-door hatchback that was first introduced at last year’s International Auto Show, which was held in New York.
By releasing a small car, Chevrolet is showing its attentiveness to consumer needs and desires, as well as a willingness to be an industry leader in the world of fuel-efficient cars. Ricart Automotive is proud to provide such vehicles, which focus on the aspects that our driving customers most need and want. If you’re in the market for a fuel efficient Chevy or other vehicle, head over to the nearest Ricart lot and take one of our 4,000 cars for a test drive today.

Fuel efficiency is a very important element in the decision many consumers make when determining which car, truck or SUV to purchase for their family. If fuel efficiency is something you’re looking for in the next vehicle you purchase, you may want to consider the 2008 Hyundai Accent. The Hyundai Accent has a quiet and efficient engine that is still capable of considerable acceleration while driving. Certainly the Accent is not a new vehicle to the automotive market. This sub-compact is now in its third generation. But the 2008 model is remarkable considering the level of fuel economy Hyundai has achieved in this sporty little car. Whether you select the sedan or hatchback style, the Hyundai Accent is sure to impress you with its affordability and fuel economy.
If you want your next vehicle to be a fuel efficient car like the Hyundai Accent, come to Ricart Automotive to learn more about our impressive vehicle selection. In October of 2007, just eight months ago, Hyundai Motor Corp released a city car called the i10. The vehicle was manufactured exclusively in India under the direction of Hyundai Motor India. However, while being manufactured in that country alone, it was made available to the global marketplace via exports. This month, Hyundai Motor India announced that in its less than a year on the international market, the Hyundai i10 has shipped over 100,000 vehicles to nearly one hundred countries across the globe.
The popularity of a small car like the Hyundai i10 is a solid example of the economic and ecological values of today’s driving public. Since the i10 is geared for city use, its small size makes storage and driving even easier in locations that offer limited parking space and bumper to bumper traffic. The ecological and economic benefits of a small car also make the i10 quite popular.
Ricart Automotive is excited to see this kind of worldwide acclaim for vehicles that meet drivers’ individual and ecological needs. If you’re looking for a fuel efficient car, we offer a wide selection of vehicles from which you can select. Come to Ricart Automotive to find the Hyundai or other vehicle that’s right for you.
