Still to come: the Chinese, but will they buy an existing nameplate or set sail with one of their own?

Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Aflac Ricart / Ford Fusion, overcame a pass-through penalty, which resulted in going down a lap, to finish in 10th place and improve to 10th in the standings. Biffle led six times for a race-high 113 laps.

The 2003 series champion has two top-five finishes at Kansas and is second among laps led in the track’s history with 183.

Ricart / Ford’s two Chase drivers, Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle, qualified 17th and 31st, respectively.
